من المفارقات العجيبة أن ضحية هجوم للفدية الإلكترونية " Muhstik Ransomware " والذي اضطر إلى الدفع لمجموعة من القراصنة لإستعادة بياناته منهم قام بالإنتقام بهجوم مضاد من خلال اختراقه لهم وقام بإصدار ثلاثة آلاف مفتاح لفك التشفير بالاستعانة بأداة فك تشفير بحيث يتمكن الضحايا الآخرون لهجوم الفدية مماثل بإستعادة ملفاتهم مرة أخرى عملا بمبدأ السن بالسن و العين بالعين و البادي أظلم. وقرب النصف الأخير من شهر سبتمبر ، استهدف المهاجمون أجهزة التخزين   QNAP Network Attached Storage (NAS)  و تشفير ملفاتها بداخلها. تمت تسمية الفدية " Muhstik " لأن القراصنة إستخدموا إمتداد " . muhstik " لتشفير الملفات.  بعد اختراق الملفات ، طلب القراصنة 0.09 عملة بيتكوين ، أو حوالي 700 دولار أمريكي لفك تشفير الملفات. وأضطر المبرمج الألماني توبياس فروميل أحد ضحايا الهجوم إلى دفع 670 يورو لاستعادة ملفاته، ولكن في نفس الوقت وجد فروميل الحادث بأكمله مهينًا فقرّر العودة إلى المخترق واختراق خادم القيادة والتحكم الخاص بالمهاجم. وأثناء استكشافه عبر خادم القيادة والتحكم ، عث...

Tweet Nokia has unveiled its first phones based on Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 operating system. The two new phones, branded as ‘Lumia', are the first collaboration on mobile devices between Nokia and Microsoft, since the pair announced a strategic partnership in February. Both Lumia models run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon S2 1.4 GHz processor, with hardware acceleration and graphics processor, with 3.7 inch touch screen and Carl Zeiss cameras. The Lumia 800 has 16GB embedded memory, an 8 megapixel, instant-share camera, and an AMOLED ClearBlack curved display, and is available in cyan, magenta and black. Tweet The iPhone 5 is likely to be unveiled at an event called ‘Let's Talk iPhone' at Apple's California headquarters on 4th October, according to reports. Analysts have speculated that the new iPhone will have a bigger screen and work better with remote computing devices. On Tuesday, Apple invited members of the press to its special "Let's Talk iPhone" event at its Cupertino, California headquarters. Apple has usually unveiled its devices in venues in San Francisco. The media invitation did not have any details as to what was happening at the event and an Apple spokesman did not provide any further details. The launch of the iPhone 5 will be the first since former CEO and co-founder Steve Jobs stepped down, and the first launch under the new chief executive Tim Cook.
